We offer a full range of Sheet Metal Fabrication Services. Using a variety of processes we look forward to meeting your needs from the simplest stamped part to those requiring complex forming, welding, assembly or finishing. With a wide range of materials stocked in house, we can work with you to control your costs, lead time and quality for all of your sheet metal fabrication needs. We can also work with you in obtaining any specialty materials your job may require. From precision cut and formed titanium parts to heavy gauge mild steel structures and assemblies, our experienced craftsmen will meet your project requirements on budget and on time.
Reliable Sheet Metal Works has multiple punching machines. Our largest is the Amada 357 Pega Turret, which is capable of processing full sheets (4′ x 10′) of material up to 3/16″ thick. With 58 tooling stations, it is designed around efficiency and the running of high production jobs at a minimal cost to our customers.
Using our Flow 6′ x 14′ bed Waterjet, we can cut virtually any type of material ranging from metal, wood, plastic, and stone from thickness of 0.030″ to 6″ with precision averages +/- 0.005″. We cut our own metal to ensure quality control and to keep price and lead times to a minimum. This “cold cutting” process guarantees no heat affected zone.
Certified Welding Services
Reliable sheet metal offers a full range of certified welding services using an extensive range of up to date equipment.
AWS Certified
We hold the appropriate AWS certifications to ensure your job is produced in a quality manner, and to code.
GTAW – Gas Tungsten Arc Welding
Commonly known as TIG welding, we can produce quality welds in essentially any weldable metal in thicknesses ranging from 0.020″ to 1/2″ thick. TIG is the general choice for stainless and aluminum welded products especially for thinner materials requiring high purity, high quality continuous welds.
GMAW – Gas Metal Arc Welding
Commonly known as MIG welding this is a highly productive method of welding suitable for a wide range of applications. GMAW is the among the most common industrial welding processes today due to its versatility, speed and cost savings over other methods. We offer certified MIG welding services for most weldable metals ranging from 0.030″ to unlimited thickness.
SMAW – Shielded Metal Arc Welding
Commonly known as “Stick” welding, this process is easily adapted for heavy duty or mobile use due to its high productivity, and weld shielding created by the coatings on individual welding rods. This method is one of the most common methods used for heavier outdoor installation and construction projects. Our generator powered welder is capable of producing sound welds in sheet metal from a thickness of 0.060″ up unlimited thickness for the heaviest structural steel weldments.
RSW – Resistance Spot Welding
Commonly known as “Spot” welding, this process of welding allows the joining of sheet metal typically ranging from 0.020″ to 0.125″ where pieces are held together under pressure between two copper electrodes which concentrate the welding current in a small “spot” while clamping the pieces to be joined in place. A high current quickly passes between the copper electrodes and the pieces to be welded melting the metal and forming the weld. Minimum heat input, precise repeatable welds, and the ability to join multiple layers of similar or disimilar metals make Resistance Spot Welding a great option for a wide range of jobs.
Capacitive Discharge Stud Welding
This common method of Stud Welding allows the precise and permanent attachment of various fasteners to a metal part. A rapid discharge of current creates a weld between the fastener and the part while creating a strong permanent fusion weld and minimizing heat distortion.
Metals Welded
Reliable Sheet Metal can weld most ferrous and non-ferrous metals including:
• Stainless Steel
• Steel
• Aluminum
• Bronze

Our press brakes can handle the simplest of jobs all the way up to large production runs requiring multiple steps and complex forming. Our 2008 Trumpf TruBend 3180 is a 5-axis machine capable of 198 tons and bends of over 13′ in length while several other press brakes on site will produce your job with efficiency and precision.
- Digital design: You provide a digital design file (e.g., a CAD file) of your part.
- CNC automation: Our technicians program the CNC machine to guide the laser head precisely along the specified cutting path.
- High-powered laser: The powerful laser beam is focused onto the metal sheet, heating and vaporizing the material.
- Assist gas: An assist gas, such as oxygen or nitrogen, is directed into the cut to blow away melted material, ensuring a clean edge.
- Flawless results: The process delivers a smooth, burr-free edge that often requires little to no post-processing.
- Precision and accuracy: Produce complex, intricate parts with extremely tight tolerances and minimal margin for error.
- Speed and efficiency: High-speed, automated cutting allows for rapid turnaround on both small and large production runs.
- Versatility: Cut a wide range of metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, in various thicknesses.
- Reduced material waste: The narrow laser kerf (the width of the cut) and efficient nesting software optimize material usage, lowering costs.
- Superior edge quality: Achieve clean, smooth edges with a small heat-affected zone (HAZ), reducing the risk of warping or distortion.
- Tool-free production: The process is digital, so there are no tooling costs or time delays associated with creating or changing physical dies.
